Freshly Made Saleabration

With only a few days of Saleabration left I thought it a great time to celebrate some of my favourite free products while playing with some new ones :-). And also wanted to use the fabulous sketch this week from Freshly Made Sketches!

For once I decided to stick rather closely to the sketch so it is - and it isn't - more pared back than usual :-)

Well, it would be - if it weren't for that vibrant DSP and the obligatory little pops of bling :-)

For the card base I used some Sahara Sand card and then some Whisper White before the two vibrant DSP strips. And then the Film Framelit is cut out of the gorgeous Gold Foil card stock and added with some dimensionals.
A little trick I noticed when playing with this Framelit for the first time is that you get a perfectly cut rectangle that pops out from the inside - so I used the Framelit with Whisper White Card stock over the "Thanks" to get the same sized rectangle for the greeting. That way some of the DSP still shows through the little holes!

The largest flower from Petal Parade was stamped in Calypso Coral ink and then punched out with a 11/4" circle punch before it too was added with dimensionals…and the little gold sequins for the final touch of bling :-)

Card stock: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Gold Foil Specialty
Designer Series Paper: Sweet Sorbet
Inks: Black Stazon, Calypso Coral
Stamps: Hip Notes, Petal Parade
Accessories: Big Shot, On Film Framelits, 11/4" Circle Punch, Gold sequins (Non-SU)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you feel inspired to check out the fabulous sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and maybe have a go too!

Happy stamping until next time,

Jan

  3. What a pretty card you have created from all the wonderful SAB goodies. I sure am going to miss SAB, as it is such an exciting time of year for SU. Your focal image piece using the new Framelit and the gold paper is Stunning. What a fun card.
PS Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a great comment. Cole is a wonderful Black Lab he came to us is such a sad state. 65 lbs skin and bones, Heartworm Positive and scared to death. He is such a love bug and really funny, he does the silliest things with his toys you just have to laugh. He is just two and still a pup. He has won a place in our hearts that's for sure. I really like the Lab Rescue that we went through check them out.
